Macro vintages · REST · MCP · Parquet

Macro and economic data API Primary-sourced series, with the vintage that was public on the day.

Interest rates, inflation, GDP, employment and FX, plus Treasury yield curves, sourced primarily from US Treasury, the Federal Reserve releases, BLS, BEA and EIA. For the major revised series, as_of returns the newest vintage public on that date; most are quarterly snapshots, so the answer can trail the latest release by up to a quarter. Where we hold no vintage, the response names the basis it used.

A curated catalogue

GET /macro/series lists every series under its familiar code: DGS10, CPIAUCSL, UNRATE and the rest.

Primary publishers

Primarily US Treasury, the Federal Reserve releases (H.10, H.15, G.17), BLS, BEA and EIA.

Vintages, dated when public

Point-in-time vintages for the major revised series, from the Philadelphia Fed Real-Time Data Set, filtered on the day each became public. Most are quarterly snapshots (monthly for payrolls and industrial production), so an as-of answer can trail the latest release by up to a quarter.

Yield curves

Pre-computed Treasury yield curves with their spreads.
